Gold prices rise today, silver remains steady

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market continued to climb on Thursday, marking the fifth consecutive trading day of increase.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of Chhapawal gold rose by Rs 1,000 per tola, reaching Rs 164,000 today.

On Wednesday, the price stood at Rs 163,000 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged.

Silver is being traded at Rs 1,950 per tola, the same as the previous day.
