Father killed, 2 sons injured in tractor-motorcycle collision
The motorcycle driver, 45-year-old Mahadev Chaudhary, died in the accident, while his sons, 15-year-old Diwakar Chaudhary and 10-year-old Krishna Chaudhary, sustained injuries.
KATHMANDU: An accident occurred in Udayapur, where a father lost his life, and his two sons were injured.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening at Danuwari Chowk in Triyuga Municipality-13, when a tractor (S 1 Ta 5742) heading towards Gaighat collided with a motorcycle (PR 1-05-001 P 4273) coming from the opposite direction.
The motorcycle driver, 45-year-old Mahadev Chaudhary, died in the accident, while his sons, 15-year-old Diwakar Chaudhary and 10-year-old Krishna Chaudhary, sustained injuries.
The police from the Udayapur District Police Office and Gaighat Traffic Police rescued them.
The injured boys were first taken to the Udayapur District Hospital and later referred to the Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar for further treatment. The tractor driver has been arrested by the police.
