KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has completed the land worship ceremony for constructing its new office building in Gyaneshwar, Ward No. 30, Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The bank aims to complete the construction within the next nine months.
In line with the banking sector’s transition towards a digital era, the new building will operate as a digital hub.
It will feature a state-of-the-art technology-friendly branch designed to enhance operational efficiency through the maximum utilization of digital technologies. The goal is to provide customers with modern, convenient, and simplified services.
The land worship ceremony was conducted by Rajesh Upadhyay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, with participation from board members, the Chief Executive Officer, senior management officials, and employees.
As part of its commitment to delivering advanced, secure, and user-friendly digital banking facilities, the bank has also refined its mobile application and launched the “Mahalaxmi Smart Sathi” to offer customers an enhanced digital banking experience.
