Cooperative victim beaten by police, one suffers head injury (video)

KATHMANDU: A clash erupted between police and cooperative victims during a protest at Maitighar, Kathmandu.

The confrontation began when police stopped the protesters from heading toward Baneshwor.

In response, the demonstrators hurled stones at the police.

Police resorted to baton charges, leaving one protester with a severe head injury.

Dozens of protesters were reportedly injured in the incident.
