Durga Prasai taken to hospital for check-up
It was reported that Prasai was taken to the hospital for a medical check-up after being brought to the CIB office.
KATHMANDU: Durga Prasai, a medical professional, was arrested from his home in Bhaktapur and taken to Chiryayu Hospital by a team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB).
It was reported that Prasai was taken to the hospital for a medical check-up after being brought to the CIB office.
Prasai had previously posted misleading content about Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
He released a video claiming that the Prime Minister had invested over Rs 3.2 billion in Cambodia’s telecom sector. As a result of this incident, Prasai was arrested by the CIB.
Prasai has a history of spreading false information about various political leaders, including the Prime Minister, and has been arrested multiple times.
He was also arrested on Sept 22 for cybercrime charges.
