KATHMANDU: Shikhar Insurance Company marked its 20th anniversary with a grand celebration, honoring long-serving employees and reflecting on its remarkable journey.
As part of the anniversary, the company recognized 11 employees with over 20 years of service by awarding them gold coins.
Additionally, 34 employees with over 10 years of service received silver coins (100 grams each) as tokens of appreciation.
Continuing its tradition, the company has consistently acknowledged dedicated employees with silver coins during annual celebrations.
Over its 20-year history, Shikhar Insurance has achieved significant milestones, including becoming the first non-life insurance company in Nepal to collect premiums exceeding Rs 500 crore, starting from Rs 100 crore.
Currently, it holds a 14% market share in premium collection.
The company has settled claims exceeding Rs 20 billion and processed over 100,000 claims during this period, maintaining a strong commitment to timely claim payments, even in times of disaster.
