Wife held for killing husband
Initial investigations suggest the murder may have resulted from a domestic dispute.
KATHMANDU: A woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her husband in Rukum (Pashchim).
According to the District Police Office in Rukum (Pashchim), 32-year-old Deepa Kumal, from Chaurjahari Municipality-2, killed her 40-year-old husband, Madhu Kumal, around 2:30 AM on Tuesday.
The couple’s son, Khim Kumal, reported the incident to the police, stating that his father had been struck on the head with a sharp piece of firewood.
A team led by Police Inspector Dipendra Rawal from the Area Police Office in Chaurjahari responded swiftly, apprehending the accused.
The body of the deceased is being transported to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination.
