Garima Bank to host ‘Garima Road Race Competition-2081’ on its 18th anniversary

KATHMANDU: Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) will organize the ‘Garima Road Race Competition-2081’ on Saturday, Nov 23, to mark its 18th anniversary.

The competition will feature two categories: an open 10-kilometer race and a 5-kilometer corporate race. Both categories will have separate events for men and women, making a total of four races.

The open 10-kilometer race is open to all interested participants, while the 5-kilometer corporate race is exclusively for employees and officials of organizations.

The winners in each of the four races (both male and female categories) will receive cash prizes as follows: 1st place – Rs 75,000, 2nd place – Rs 60,000, 3rd place – Rs 45,000, 4th place – Rs 30,000, and 5th place – Rs 15,000.

Those wishing to participate in the Garima Road Race Competition-2081 can register through the bank’s official website, Facebook page, or by contacting the bank’s central office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, by Nov 20.

The registration will close once the maximum number of participants is reached.

The bank has also announced plans to host this race every year as part of its anniversary celebrations.

In addition to the road race, Garima Bikas Bank will organize 18 different programs across the country to celebrate its 18th anniversary on Nov 22.

Over the past few years, the bank has been incorporating corporate social responsibility activities and other events across all seven provinces as part of its anniversary celebrations.
