Nepal Airlines’ ‘Makalu’ aircraft to resume regular flights

KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines’ A-330 widebody aircraft, ‘9N-ALZ’ (Makalu), is set to resume regular flights starting today.

The aircraft, which was sent to Italy three months ago for a routine C-check maintenance, has now completed the necessary repairs.

Spokesperson Ramesh Poudel confirmed that the aircraft, after undergoing international procedures and C-check maintenance, landed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 8:52 AM.

It will begin operations from this evening.

With the return of this aircraft, the airline now has all four of its aircraft operating on international routes, which is expected to enhance services for passengers.
