Krishna Man Dangol registers candidacy for Kirtipur mayor from NC

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has registered candidates for the upcoming local by-election to be held on Mangsir 16 (Dec 1).

Krishna Man Dangol has filed his candidacy for the position under the party.

In Kirtipur Municipality, for Ward 1, Congress candidate Isha Maharjan has registered for Ward Chair, and Rajendra Baniya for Ward 4 Chair.

The registration process saw strong participation from local party workers. Congress General Secretary Bishwajit Sharma and other party leaders were also present at the election officer’s office.

The deadline for nomination submission is set for 5 PM today.
