Former Speaker Daman Nath Dhungana passes away
He served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2048 BS to 2051 BS.

KATHMANDU: Former Speaker Daman Nath Dhungana passed away on Sunday.
According to family sources, he passed away at 2 p.m. while undergoing treatment at the Frontline Hospital.
Dhungana had been suffering from liver-related issues.
He served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2048 BS to 2051 BS.
He was elected as a Member of Parliament from Kathmandu in 2048 BS, after which he became the Speaker.
