RSP decides not to register candidate for Kirtipur mayor

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided not to register a candidate for the mayoral position of Kirtipur Municipality.

Despite preparations being made for the by-election and a candidate already selected, the party opted not to file a nomination.

Pradeep Bista, the party’s Kathmandu chair, stated that the party will support an independent candidate but did not reveal which candidate will receive their backing.
