Maharjan registers candidacy for Kirtipur Mayor on behalf of Baburam’s party

KATHMANDU: Dil Kumar Maharjan has registered his candidacy for the position of Mayor of Kirtipur Municipality on behalf of the Nepal Socialist Party (New Force).

He submitted his nomination papers at the office of the Chief Election Officer in Kirtipur.

The nomination was registered on Sunday, in line with the upcoming by-election. Nominations for candidates are being accepted today from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Voting for the 42 vacant local-level positions will take place on Mangsir 16 (Dec 1).
