Heavy flooding in Southern Spain displaces thousands

KATHMANDU: Southern Spain has been hit by severe flooding, with Málaga city experiencing the worst of the deluge, causing widespread inundation.

The intense rainfall led to the cancellation of flights at the airport, and several areas in the Seville province also faced significant flooding, disrupting daily life for residents.

Thousands of people in the Costa del Sol region have been displaced from their homes.

Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported at this time.
