Woman found dead in Palpa

KATHMANDU: A woman has been found dead in the Bagaha-Sitakund road section of Rampur Municipality-3, Palpa.

The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Sukmaya Giri Saru, the wife of local Dilbahadur Saru, according to Sunil Malla, the information officer at the District Police Office in Palpa.

The woman was found in a drain by the road around 5:30 PM on Saturday.

She was rushed to Rampur Hospital for treatment, but the doctors declared her dead upon arrival.

The District Police Office in Palpa is conducting further investigations into the incident, as stated by Information Officer Mall.
