‘Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi’ removed from 20 houseful theaters

KATHMANDU: The makers of the highly successful film Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi have decided to stop its screening in 20 theaters across Nepal, citing fraudulent gross collection reports.

According to the production company Seven Seas, these theaters allegedly manipulated their earnings reports, showing significantly lower figures than the actual collections.

Despite earning substantial revenue, the production team claims that these theaters reported minimal earnings to reduce the payment owed to the filmmakers.

Released during Laxmi Puja, Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi has been enjoying houseful shows nationwide.

However, from today, the film will no longer be screened in the 20 accused theaters, as confirmed by the production team.
