Dhankuta to host avocado & local products exhibition

KATHMANDU: Dhankuta Municipality is set to organize an exhibition featuring avocados and other local products on Nov 19.
The event aims to promote local produce and encourage farmers and entrepreneurs, according to Mayor Chintan Tamang.
The exhibition will take place in the municipality office premises from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It will showcase and sell avocados and other products. Additionally, consultations on entrepreneurship development will be provided, and local artists will perform cultural programs.
The municipality is offering free stalls for the event. Chief Administrative Officer Dasharath Rai has issued a notice urging farmers and business owners interested in exhibiting and selling their products to book stalls by Nov 17.
Economic Development Officer Bikash Adhikari highlighted that the exhibition will serve as a platform for farmers, producers, entrepreneurs, experts, and investors to interact and collaborate.
He believes it will contribute significantly to the promotion and marketing of local products.
The municipality has called on residents, farmers, cooperative members, students, youth, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople to participate and ensure the exhibition’s success.
