The Sama Chakewa group from Mithileshwar Mauwahi secured first place in the event.
KATHMANDU: The Sama Chakewa game competition, organized by the Maithili Development Fund, has concluded successfully.
The Sama Chakewa group from Mithileshwar Mauwahi secured first place in the event.
Out of the nine participating groups, Modern Nepal English Medium Boarding School from Janakpurdham-7 claimed second place, while the Sakhi Bahinapa Maithilani group achieved third.
The winning group was awarded a cash prize of Rs 11,000. Similarly, the second and third-place winners received Rs 7,000 and NPR 5,000, respectively.
Other participating groups, including Brahmarshi Mahila Samaj, Janaki Sama Chakewa Group, Sita Sama Chakewa Group, Vaidehi Sama Chakewa Group, Janaki Chowk Sama Chakewa Group, and Dakshinkali Sama Chakewa Group, were also honored with a cash prize of Rs 2,000 each.
