KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is set to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Acting spokesperson Manish Jha confirmed that the memorandum will be handed over after requesting an appointment with the Prime Minister.
RSP President Rabi Lamichhane is currently in police custody under allegations of misusing cooperative funds.
He was arrested by the police on Oct 18 from the party’s central office in Banasthali.
The RSP is submitting the memorandum in protest against what it claims is political revenge by the government following Lamichhane’s arrest.
After Lamichhane’s detention, the RSP has taken to the streets in protest, accusing the government of pursuing political vendetta against their party leader.
