Rain & snowfall in these regions, fog in Terai
Light fog is present in some parts of the Terai region.
KATHMANDU: Some parts of the country are likely to experience snowfall and rainfall today.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is partial cloud cover this morning in the hilly regions of Gandaki Province and Koshi State, while the weather remains mostly clear in other areas.
Light fog is present in some parts of the Terai region.
In the afternoon, partial cloud cover will persist in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, while the weather in other areas is expected to remain mostly clear.
Light rainfall is possible in a few spots in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki States.
At night, partial cloud cover will continue in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini States, with mostly clear weather in the remaining areas.
According to the Department, the weather across the country is currently under a mild influence of local winds, particularly in the western and hilly regions.
