Man rescued after falling from cliff in Kavrepalanchowk (photos)

KATHMANDU: On the night of Kartik 27 (No0v 12), a rescue operation was carried out in the Bhulkhu area of Kavrepalanchowk district, near the waterfall cottage, following a fall from a cliff.
The incident occurred at the border between Ward 7 and Ward 8 of Bhumlu Municipality.
During a return journey, a group of five individuals encountered the fall, including 25-year-old Ram Kumar Upreti from Ward 8 of the same municipality.
A joint team consisting of personnel from the 15th Battalion of Kavre, the 16th Battalion of Sindhupalchowk, and local police coordinated the rescue operation.
The injured person was located and rescued at 5:30 a.m. today.
Ram Kumar Upreti had fallen approximately 30-40 meters into a ravine, sustaining injuries to his head and back.
After being rescued, he was immediately transported to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment.
