KATHMANDU: Hezbollah media chief Mohammad Afif has stated that the Israeli army has still not been able to capture any village in southern Lebanon.

He emphasized that after 45 days of intense fighting, the Israeli enemy has failed to take control of even a single village in the region.

Afif further declared that Hezbollah would continue its attacks until the Israeli forces withdraw.

He also rejected claims by Israeli officials that Hezbollah’s missile stockpile had decreased by approximately 20%.

He affirmed that Hezbollah possesses enough weapons and equipment to continue the fight.

In response to diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire in Lebanon, as stated by Israeli officials, Afif mentioned that no official ceasefire proposal had been presented to the group.

He also highlighted the strong relationship between Hezbollah and the Lebanese national army.

Since the escalation of the conflict on Sept 23, the Israeli army has intensified its airstrikes on Lebanon as clashes with Hezbollah continue to grow.
