Tiger never becomes a jackal just by being caged: Rabi Lamichhane
Speaking to the press after his statement at the District Attorney’s Office in Rupandehi, Lamichhane asserted that a tiger remains a tiger, no matter the cage.
KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, recently arrested in a cooperative fraud case, has described himself as a “tiger.”
While leaving the District Government Attorney’s Office in Rupandehi after providing his statement, Lamichhane remarked that being confined to a cage does not turn a tiger into a jackal.
He confidently stated, “A tiger never becomes a jackal, even if it’s locked in a cage.”
Lamichhane, who has been in police custody for 26 days, is under investigation for cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering.
He was transported from Pokhara to Bhairahawa earlier today on a Buddha Air flight specifically to give his statement.
Authorities at the District Government Attorney’s Office took his testimony throughout the day.
