23-year-old boy held for raping 34-year-old woman

KATHMANDU: A 23-year-old boy, Deepak BK, of Lungri Rural Municipality-2 in Rolpa, and was living in Gadhawa Rural Municipality-1 Juraini was arrested by the police on Tuesday afternoon for allegedly committing rape against a 34-year-old woman from Dang.

Based on a complaint filed by the victim, police from the Gadhawa Area Police Office and the temporary police post in Kalakate launched an operation to apprehend him.

The police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
