Two more held in human trafficking case involving Former Minister

KATHMANDU: Two additional individuals have been arrested on charges of human trafficking, according to the District Police Complex in Kathmandu.

Nawaraj Adhikari from the District Police Complex reported to Makalu Khabar that Naveen Rai and Guddri Rai from Okhaldhunga were apprehended.

This brings the total number of arrests in connection with the case involving Lilabalab Adhikari, the former Internal Affairs and Law Minister of Koshi State, to nine.

The police have stated that further investigation is ongoing, with the former minister currently in custody.
