KATHMANDU: Nepal registered their fourth win in the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier today by defeating Kuwait by a massive margin of 165 runs.

In their fifth match, Nepal set a target of 214 runs for Kuwait, who were bowled out for just 48 runs in 13 overs.

Nepal’s captain, Pooja Mahato, delivered a deadly spell, taking 5 wickets for just 8 runs in 4 overs to dismiss Kuwait cheaply.

Simana KC and Rachana Kumari Chaudhary also contributed with two wickets each.

Earlier, Nepal opted to bat first after winning the toss and played explosive cricket.

Captain Pooja Mahato scored an outstanding 130* off 69 balls.

Deputy captain Soni Pakhrein supported with a solid 43* off 33 balls.

Opener Savitri Dhami scored 11 runs, and Sana Praveen contributed 6 runs.
