Muktinath Bank honored with ‘Certificate of Merit’ for 2nd time at SAFA BPA Awards
This is the second time Muktinath Bikas Bank has received this honor, having previously been recognized in 2021.
KATHMANDU: In Colombo, Sri Lanka, Muktinath Bikas Bank was awarded the ‘Certificate of Merit’ in the Financial Services Sector at the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Best Presented Annual Report Awards 2023.
This is the second time Muktinath Bikas Bank has received this honor, having previously been recognized in 2021.
The South Asian Federation of Accountants presents the Best Presented Annual Report Awards in various categories, evaluating annual reports from South Asian countries.
A committee formed by the SAFA reviews and selects the reports based on specific evaluation criteria, with Muktinath Bikas Bank being distinguished in the Financial Services category.
The annual report was submitted for consideration by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal, representing Muktinath Bikas Bank at the event. The award was accepted by the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Pradyuman Pokharel.
This prestigious recognition is highly regarded, and the bank has stated that receiving such an award at the international level serves as a source of motivation and inspiration for all employees.
In addition, the bank is set to launch Nepal’s first collective investment fund, ‘Muktinath Mutual Fund,’ in the upcoming month of Mangsir.
Muktinath Bikas Bank is the promoter of the fund, while Muktinath Capital will manage it.
The fund units will be available for purchase through a public issuance.
