KATHMANDU: A high-level delegation from the (CPN-UML) is set to travel to Beijing on Tuesday ahead of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s official visit to China.

The delegation, led by senior vice-chairperson of CPN-UML, Ishwar Pokhrel, is scheduled to hold meetings with top officials from the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The team includes Secretary Lekhraj Bhatta, Standing Committee member Gorkh Bahadur Bogati, central committee members Sarita Bhusal, Shanti Dhakal, and Koshi State Committee Secretary Rajkumar Bhandari.

Also joining the delegation are Prime Minister’s personal secretary Roshani Meche, Foreign Department member Dr. Deependra Shrestha, Jhapa Gauriganj Rural Municipality Vice-Chairperson Pujan Nyaupane, Madhesh Province Committee Deputy Secretary Mohammad Kaish, Propaganda Department member Deepak Ghyawali, central advisor Tara Baral, and Policy Institute member Ashish Regmi.
