Qatar Airways beginning daily Doha-Bhairahawa flights
The flight will arrive in Bhairahawa at 2:45 PM and then depart for Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU: Starting today, Qatar Airways will operate daily flights from Doha to Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa.
According to Pratap Babu Tiwari, the General Manager of Gautam Buddha International Airport, Qatar Airways has obtained permission to operate one daily flight on the Doha-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu route.
The flight will arrive in Bhairahawa at 2:45 PM and then depart for Kathmandu.
Qatar Airways has also received permission for three daily flights to Kathmandu, with two flights to Kathmandu and one to Bhairahawa.
Previously, Qatar Airways had been operating four daily flights to Kathmandu before airport maintenance began.
With this, Qatar Airways becomes the fifth airline to operate flights from Bhairahawa, joining Nepal Airlines, Fly Dubai, Jazeera Airways, and Thai AirAsia.
