PM says economic reform efforts underway upon reaching Biratnagar

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that discussions are ongoing regarding the country’s economic reforms and constitutional amendments.

He gave this brief response while exiting the VIP lounge at Biratnagar Airport.

Due to his busy schedule and time constraints, he mentioned that he would talk to the journalists later.

During this occasion, Prime Minister Oli was warmly welcomed by the Chief Minister of State 1, Hikmat Kumar Karki, the In-charge of the CPN (UML) State 1 Committee and former Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai, State President Ghanshyam Khatiwada, Chief District Officer of Morang Prem Prasad Bhattarai, heads of security bodies, senior party officials, and party workers.

Prime Minister Oli is set to preside over the 13th Convocation Ceremony organized by BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
