Gold price drops by Rs 1,000 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of yellow metal has decreased by Rs. 1,000 per tola in the local market today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, on Sunday, the price of hallmark gold was trading at Rs. 166,000 per tola, but it has now been set at Rs. 165,000 for today.

Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by Rs. 5 per tola.

On Sunday, it was trading at Rs. 1,960 per tola, while today, the price has been set at Rs. 1,955 per tola.
