Baglung accident update: All five deceased identified
The van, with license number Ga2Cha 9247, was carrying five people, all of whom lost their lives in the crash.
KATHMANDU: An accident occurred on the morning of Nov 11, when a pickup van, traveling from Jaimini Municipality-8 Chhisti towards Baglung Bazaar, plunged more than 500 meters down the road near Byarthala, close to the border of Jaimini-7 Jaidi and Chhisti.
The van, with license number Ga2Cha 9247, was carrying five people, all of whom lost their lives in the crash.
According to Keshav Thapa, the information officer at the District Police Office, the deceased have been identified as 38-year-old Mahendra Pun from Chhisti, Jaimini-8, the driver of the van; 20-year-old Rashmi Shris, 50-year-old Nandkali Pun, 17-year-old Niraj Shris, and 75-year-old Kulprasad Shris, all from the same area.
In addition, 45-year-old Gangabahadur Shris from Chhisti sustained multiple injuries in the accident.
He is being transported to Dhaulagiri Hospital for treatment.
