Rabi Lamichhane presented in court again after detention period ends

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, the President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been brought before the court after the third extension of his detention period ended.

The court is considering a further extension of his detention for continued investigation.

Lamichhane faces charges related to cooperative fraud, money laundering, and organized crime.

Along with him, former DIG Chhabilal Joshi, Leela Pachhai, and Ram Kumar Khanal, who are also in custody for the cooperative fraud case, have been presented before the court for a possible extension of their detention.
