Rabi’s third investigation deadline ends: To be presented in court today, RSP prepares for protest

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has recently completed the 10-day deadline given for the investigation against Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane.

The court had granted this 10-day period to the police on the 20th of Kartik (Nov 5), with the deadline starting from the 14th of Kartik (Nov 1).

Now that the investigation period has ended, the authorities are preparing to present Lamichhane before the court again.

He is facing charges of cooperative fraud, money laundering, and organized crime.

In support of their chairman, RSP has continued their protest movements.

Today, the party is organizing a demonstration in Pokhara, with supporters gathering at 10 AM.
