Sudurpashchim crowned champion defeating Lumbini

KATHMANDU: Sudurpashchim State has been crowned the champion of the ‘Shrestha Smriti U-19 Cricket Tournament’, defeating Lumbini State in the final.

This marks the second consecutive victory for Sudurpashchim in the prestigious competition. In the final match held on Wednesday, Sudurpashchim set a target of 128 runs for Lumbini.

Despite a valiant effort, Lumbini could only manage to score 119 runs, getting all out in 43.1 overs, falling short by 8 runs.

Sudurpashchim’s win highlighted their consistency, as they successfully defended the modest total to claim the title for the second year in a row.
