Trump congratulated by Israeli PM, calls it ‘A huge victory!’
While Trump has claimed victory, he has not yet reached the required number of electoral votes.
KATHMANDU: Following Donald Trump declared his victory in the U.S. presidential election, several global leaders extended their congratulations to him.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his well wishes, saying, “Congratulations on the greatest comeback in history! Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and the United States.” He added, “This is a huge victory!” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also congratulated Trump, calling it “the greatest comeback in American political history!”
He continued, “Congratulations to President Donald Trump on his huge win. A victory much needed for the world!”
While Trump has claimed victory, he has not yet reached the required number of electoral votes.
He still needs four more votes to secure the 270 needed to win. Kamala Harris has currently secured 219 electoral votes.
