Prime Minister’s desire to watch ‘Purnabahadur Ko Sarangi’

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed his intention to watch the Nepali film Purnabahadur Ko Sarangi.
In a post shared on social media platform Facebook on Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli congratulated the filmmakers and cast of the film while stating that he has not yet been able to watch it due to time constraints.
He mentioned that, based on the reviews he has read, the film effectively portrays the conflict between social traditions and commercialism.
“I have received an invitation to watch the film Purnabahadur Ko Sarangi, but due to lack of time, I haven’t been able to watch it yet. From the reviews, I understand that the film presents a good exploration of the conflict between our social traditions and commercialization,” he wrote. “If the opportunity arises, I will definitely watch it. Congratulations to the filmmakers and the cast!”
The film has garnered attention for its reflection on societal issues, and the Prime Minister’s acknowledgment has added to its visibility.
