Israeli airstrikes kill 10 & injures 9 in southern & eastern Lebanon
Two paramedics from the Islamic Health Authority were also killed in the southern Lebanese Municipality of Bazourieh.
KATHMANDU: Israeli airstrikes in various regions of southern and eastern Lebanon have resulted in the death of 10 people, with 9 others injured.
An anonymous source from Lebanon’s Civil Defence reported that in the southern Lebanese neighborhood of Sidon, three people were killed and 9 others injured in an Israeli attack.
In addition, in the eastern Lebanese town of Machghara, three civilians were killed in an airstrike, while two more died in the southern village of Jabal al-Batm.
Two paramedics from the Islamic Health Authority were also killed in the southern Lebanese Municipality of Bazourieh.
The Israeli military began its attacks on Lebanon at the end of September, intensifying its operations against Hezbollah.
According to a report from Lebanon’s Ministry of Health on Sunday, since the war began on Oct 8, 2023, Israeli airstrikes have claimed the lives of 2,986 people in Lebanon, with 13,402 others injured.
