Man dies, another Injured after attack by own bull in Jhapa
Krishna Sharma, approximately 48 years old and a resident of Gauradaha-7, Jambari, succumbed to injuries inflicted by his own bull.
KATHMANDU: In Jhapa’s Gauradaha, a man has died, and another has been injured after being attacked by a bull they had raised.
Krishna Sharma, approximately 48 years old and a resident of Gauradaha-7, Jambari, succumbed to injuries inflicted by his own bull.
The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday while Sharma was attempting to move the bull he had tied in his field. The animal attacked him, leaving him seriously injured.
Sharma was initially taken to Lifeline Hospital in Damak, where doctors found that seven of his vertebrae were fractured.
He was referred to Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar for further treatment, where he passed away on Thursday at around 4:20 p.m., according to police reports.
In an attempt to capture the bull, neighbor Rabin Rajbanshi, approximately 45 years old, was also seriously injured, sustaining head injuries.
He was first treated at Lifeline Hospital and later transferred to Nobel Hospital for further care.
