KATHMANDU: The final match of the SAFF Women’s Championship 2024 between Nepal and Bangladesh will take place today at 6:30 PM at the Dasarath Stadium in Tripureshwar.

In light of the upcoming match, the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has released a list of items prohibited from being brought into the stadium.

Attendees will not be allowed to carry firearms, knives, or any sharp weapons or tools.

Additionally, the ANFA has stated that cigarettes, lighters, matches, alcoholic beverages, and narcotics are also banned from the venue.

Large bags will not be permitted; however, small bags will be allowed after passing through security checks.

Other prohibited items include motorcycle helmets, unauthorized banners, flags, posters, bottles or cans of water or other cold beverages, laser lights, umbrellas, lipsticks, nail clippers, scissors, and other similar items.

Concerns arose during the semifinal match against India, where an excessive number of spectators were reported to have entered the stadium, leading to a controversial situation. Frustrated fans had thrown bottles onto the field, prompting increased security measures in response to the unrest.
