UNL concludes its 31st AGM, with the highest ever dividend to its shareholders

KATHMANDU: Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) successfully concluded its 31st Annual General Meeting on 28th October 2024 at the Everest Hotel located in Kathmandu with the participation of its board members, management team and shareholders.
The event marked by a significant milestone as the company approved the highest ever dividend of Rs. 1714/- per share which is an 8% increase from its last year payout.
At the event, Mr. Dev Bajpai, Chair of Unilever Nepal Limited, extended his gratitude to the shareholders for their unwavering support in bringing the company to its current standing.
In his speech, Mr. Bajpai informed the shareholders about the company’s recent performance, challenges faced in growing volumes amidst difficult operating environment and shed light on future aspirations to gain volume growth with the right category strategy in place.
Furthermore, Mr. Bajpai informed the shareholders on UNL’s commitment to uphold high sustainability standards to safeguard the environment and our stakeholders.
The forum heard views from shareholders, investment analysts and the board actively engaged with them clarifying questions on business performance and the outlook for the next fiscal year.
The event also marked the early retirement of Mr. Dev Bajpai, who has provided his leadership to UNL over past four years.
The MD & CEO Mr. Amlan Mukherjee, along with the board and shareholders facilitated Mr. Bajpai for his esteemed service to build UNL from strength to strength.
