In pics: Marigolds bloomed by ‘Sunaulo Paila’

KATHMANDU: With Tihar approaching, the trade of various types of flowers has begun.

Flower sellers have started supplying flowers, including marigolds, to the market.

Currently, the market and fields are vibrant with locally grown flowers and imports from other countries.

In Suntakhan, Gokarneshwar, an orphanage called “Sunaulo Paila” has also cultivated marigolds.

According to the organization’s president, Rojina Bista, the funds generated from flower sales are used to support the orphaned children residing in the shelter.
