KATHMANDU: Eleven activists from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have been arrested in Baluwatar while protesting for the release of Rabi Lamichhane.

The party members gathered to demonstrate in front of Nepal House when they were detained by police.

Among those arrested are Pradeep Bisht, Chair of the Kathmandu District, Buddha Ratna Maherjan, Chair of the Lalitpur District, and party members Khusiram Kaini, Jairam Nepal, Surendra Awale, Nawaraj Bhandari, Sahil Prayash, Umesh Lama, Navaraj Mudbhari, Dhruv Dhakal, and Savi Khadka.

Kavindra Burlakoti, the acting general secretary of Raswapa, stated that the police administration disrupted the peaceful protest.
