Microbus accident in Dhading: 11 injured, 2 in critical condition

KATHMANDU: A microbus traveling from Kathmandu to Manakamana in Gorkha has been involved in an accident in Dhading, resulting in injuries to 11 people, including the driver.

The electric microbus, with the license plate number Bagmati State 01-030-Chaaa 7659, was carrying passengers on a family trip when it crashed in the Thakre Rural Municipality-6 area, near a place known as 10 Kilo.

According to Inspector Suraj Shrestha from the Dhading District Traffic Police Office, two of the injured individuals are in serious condition.

All the injured are receiving treatment at Mahadevbesi Hospital, and they are reported to be from the same family.

The police have stated that the cause of the accident and the details of the passengers’ identities are yet to be determined.
