Aston Villa stuns Europe with perfect Champions League run

KATHMANDU: Aston Villa is making headlines with an incredible start to their Champions League campaign.

The Premier League club has won all three of their group stage matches without conceding a single goal, securing a spot at the top of the table with maximum points.

Villa’s 2-0 victory over Bologna on Tuesday marked their third consecutive win, following impressive results against Young Boys (3-0) and Bayern Munich (1-0).

This is Villa’s best performance in Europe since 1983.

Coach Unai Emery praised his team’s focus and maturity, while 20-year-old striker Jhon Durán shone, scoring in the Bologna match.
