Gold prices drop

KATHMANDU: On Thursday, the price of gold in the Nepali market has decreased for the fifth consecutive time this week.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold has dropped by 700 rupees per tola.

Currently, hallmark gold is trading at 166,000 rupees per tola, down from 166,700 rupees per tola on Wednesday.

Additionally, the price of silver has also decreased by 40 rupees per tola, now trading at 2,095 rupees per tola, compared to 2,135 rupees per tola on the previous trading day.
