KATHMANDU: Three new ministers have been sworn into the Lumbini State Government.

The oath was administered by State Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti.

Janmaya Timilsina from Bardiya took the oath as the Minister of Social Development, Devkaran Kalwar from West Nawalparasi as the Minister of Forests and Environment, and Aadesh Agrawal from Banke as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law.

Among the newly sworn-in ministers, Timilsina and Kalwar are from the Nepali Congress, while Agrawal represents the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).

With the inclusion of these ministers, the Lumbini State Government now consists of 11 ministers—five from the CPN-UML, five from the Nepali Congress, and one from the JSP. Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya had recommended the restructuring of the provincial cabinet to the State Chief on Wednesday.
