Worker died after falling from the roof

KATHMANDU: A construction worker died after falling from the roof of an under-construction house in Minbhawan, Kathmandu.

The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Dil Bahadur Bhujel of Belkotgadhi Municipality-3, Nuwakot, according to the Kathmandu Police.

The incident occurred this morning at around 7:30 AM when Bhujel fell from the fourth floor of a house under construction, owned by Bitu Shrestha, in Aloknagar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31.

SP Nawaraj Adhikari informed that Bhujel slipped while working on the construction site.

Bhujel, who sustained serious injuries after the fall, was rushed to Civil Hospital, where he passed away during treatment.

His body is currently kept at Civil Hospital, SP Adhikari further reported.
