USA ‘A’ defeats Nepal by 4 wickets in practice match

KATHMANDU: The Nepal national cricket team, currently in the United States, suffered a defeat in a practice match against the USA ‘A’ team. In the match held last night, USA ‘A’ defeated Nepal by 4 wickets.

Batting first, the Nepal team was all out for 80 runs in 25.3 overs. In response, USA ‘A’ chased down the target, losing 6 wickets and winning the game by 4 wickets.

For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane took 4 wickets, while Rijan Dhakal and Lalit Rajbanshi each took 1 wicket.

Kushal Malla was the top scorer for Nepal with 18 runs.

This practice match is part of the preparation for League-2 games, with USA ‘A’, Nepal, and Scotland participating.

Today, USA ‘A’ will face Scotland in another practice match.
