KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to present the progress report of his government’s first 100 days in office.

Appointed on July 14, Oli has compiled the progress reports submitted by his ministers and will unveil the government’s achievements at a press conference in Singha Durbar this afternoon.

The ruling coalition includes the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), and Nawa Yuba Party (NYP). While PM Oli has emphasized economic reforms, infrastructure development, and improvements in service delivery as his government’s top priorities, public dissatisfaction has been rising.

Criticism has been aimed at the government for its inadequate performance in disaster management, controlling inflation, and combating corruption. Complaints have also surfaced about the government’s insufficient response to the Sept 28 natural disaster.

Nevertheless, the government has reported ongoing efforts in relief, rescue, and rehabilitation in disaster-affected areas and plans to introduce further improvements in the days ahead.
